Why This Role Matters:
The Fraud Operations Center of Excellence (FOCE) for the Group 1001 Life & Annuity business unit operates under the direction of a senior member of the Next Generation Operations team. The Operational Fraud & Risk Analysis Manager will play a key role in helping prevent and detect suspicious activity that can lead to fraud against our customers and the company. In this role, the manager will help oversee the management of suspicious activity detection workflows, manage the progress of short-term and long-term projects, achieve high quality results from research to detect and prevent fraud, and have a mindset of constant innovation and refinement in an agile environment. This manager will help oversee the annual fraud risk assessment, anti-fraud training development, detection of fraud using technology and data analytics, and process analysis of key business processes from a fraud risk perspective. The ideal candidate for this position will have direct experience working in the fraud space in the insurance and financial services industry. The manager will interact within the FOCE team and work with a number of internal stakeholders in departments like the Special Investigations Unit, Compliance, Security, Risk Management and others.
This position will report to the Director, Operational Fraud & Risk Analysis.
