How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Job Description: The Carrier Financial Analyst is responsible for providing support to the Carrier Management department as well as the AMG finance, supply chain, procurement and logistics departments. This position will assist in invoice payment and review, aging analysis, shift cost analysis, and vendor relationship management.
Process, audit and approve carrier invoices with coding to correct internal cost centers.
Assist finance with the development and implementation of new and existing vendors into our excel based billing files.
Present invoice inefficiencies during carrier team meetings and to the vendors during quarterly business reviews.
Read and analyze contracts to ensure that amounts being charged are in line with rate addendums.
Obtain root cause analysis on invoices outside of typical thresholds to determine any corrective actions needed either internally or externally and follow through on those corrective actions.
Review vendor aging reports and work with AP and other internal stakeholders to resolve disputes or discrepancies timely.
Send proof of deliveries to sales and customers as required.
Maintain positive relationships with vendors
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Two (2) plus years experience in analysis or logistics role.
Experience with Power BI and SAP.
