As the world works and lives faster, FIS is leading the way.  Our fintech solutions touch nearly every market, company, and person on the planet. Our teams are inclusive and diverse. Our colleagues work together and celebrate together. If you want to advance the world of fintech, we’d like to ask you: Are you FIS?

The role of the Solution Architect within Professional Services is to design, describe and manage the functional solutions within the Securities Processing product as a back office and integrate with front office products to match with our client’s specific business requirements.

In addition, the role is to ensure that our projects are clearly scoped and designed before we commence build, thereby eliminating from the delivery phase questions over if or how we can configure various Front office (Security Finance) products from Capital Markets Businesses integrating with the Back Office (Securities Processing). This will help facilitate smoother projects by reducing unexpected changes to budgets and timelines.

The Solution Architect will be involved in each stage of a project to a varying degree, from the pre-contract scoping phase all the way through to go-live including participating in Project implementation as a part of Project Life cycle that includes Pre-sales support (SOW preparation, estimation of efforts), Requirement discussions with client, illustrating through flow drawings, listing configuration items, assisting to prepare implementation runbooks with Product SMEs and Business Analysts, preparation of Test plan/scenarios, assisting in Post Go Live turnover to Client Services (Operations & Support).

About the team:
