Summary: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Software Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our development team in the Marketing Messages and Integrations solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Microsoft technologies, specifically Visual Basic and C#, and/or Java, and experience building scalable solutions in the cloud. This role requires a versatile engineer capable of handling the full software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to deployment and testing, while ensuring code quality and performance optimization across various application types, including APIs, Windows services, and batch jobs. Lastly, the ideal candidate will be eager to learn and understand vendor code applications. Required Qualifications and Skills • 3-5 years of professional experience in software development or engineering. • Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Visual Basic, C#, or Java. • Proven, hands-on experience in API development and testing (REST/SOAP). • Experience with cloud architecture, including deploying and managing applications on Windows servers in an IaaS/PaaS environment (e.g., Azure). • Hands-on experience with deployment and version control tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Git, etc. • Strong knowledge of SQL for database querying, design, and performance optimization. • Familiarity with the full software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. • If no Java skills, a strong willingness and aptitude to learn and work with frameworks like Spring Boot is required.
