We are seeking a highly technical, self‑motivated Full Stack Lead Software Engineer to drive the design, development, and modernization of our high‑criticality, high‑volume Commercial Check Deposits and Payments Platform. This platform processes millions of transactions daily for commercial clients and requires deep expertise across distributed systems, secure financial workflows, device/driver integrations, and modern cloud-native architectures.
This senior technical leader will work closely with architects, product owners, infrastructure teams, and engineering leaders across the enterprise to deliver resilient, scalable, and secure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership and Architecture
Application Development
Design and build high-performance backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and secure REST APIs. Develop scalable React and TypeScript UI components.
Integrate seamlessly with legacy and modern .NET/C# components.
Execute full SDLC: design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
AI and Modern Engineering
Apply AI/GenAI to automate development workflows and boost engineering productivity.
Use AI for anomaly detection, document understanding, and operational insights.
Cloud, Infrastructure, and DevOps
Ensure resiliency, fault tolerance, observability, and operational readiness.
Partner with DevOps to advance CI/CD, containerization, and Kubernetes orchestration.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Leadership
Required Qualifications:

Financial services or banking experience in payments or check processing systems.
Strong understanding of end-to-end infrastructure architecture, including cloud networking, load balancing, security, and message queues.
Practical experience leveraging AI/ML or GenAI tools for engineering or operational efficiency.
Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
Demonstrated ownership, self-motivation, and problem-solving capability
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
Working knowledge or hands-on experience with ASP .NET, C#
BS in Computer Science or related discipline
