Job Purpose:

This role within the non-trade Procurement organization is supporting the delivery of procurement savings projects in areas of spend such as IT, Finance, HR, Legal, Marketing, Logistics, etc. The role would work with senior stakeholders in those organizations to develop annual sourcing plans, conduct strategic sourcing events, set up ongoing supplier management programs, and deliver hard dollar savings that impact that department’s P&L. An important aspect of the role is directing and coaching Analysts on the team. As is the nature of sourcing roles, the responsibility of the role is also reflected in the complexity of the stakeholder and supplier relationships and the required expertise of sourcing strategies in the relevant areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual sourcing/category plans with key business stakeholders.

  • Conduct negotiations with suppliers in assigned categories of spend to Deliver P&L savings of $3MM-$5MM.

  • Work with stakeholders to create & manage RFP projects to select strategic suppliers.

  • Statement of Work and Contract Negotiations.

  • Represent TD SYNNEX in quarterly business reviews with suppliers and ongoing supplier relationship management.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • >5 to 8 Years of relevant work experience

  • Experience in IT, Finance, Logistics, or Marketing categories

  • Experience in working with all levels of management

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or quantitative field, such as Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Finance or a related discipline.

  • Master's/Post Graduate Degree is preferred.

  • Able to demonstrate complex problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.

  • Advanced problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.

  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.

  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

  • Effective presentation and stakeholder management skills, including senior leadership interactions.
