THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for an Actuarial Inforce Management, Senior Lead who drives more than one in-force management activities below according to the regulation and internal standards/policies of AIA Vietnam.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Claim Management

  • Drive analysis of claim trends, frequency/severity patterns, and cost drivers across multiple product lines to produce actionable insights for claim control.
  • Recommend and support the implementation of strategies for early intervention and cost containment.
  • Provide actuarial input to product pricing, reinsurance arrangements, and loss ratio monitoring.
  • Improve efficiency/control in claim management process through process enhancement and automation.

Experience Analysis & Assumption Setting

  • Lead the annual experience analysis & assumption setting (EAAS) workstream for all operating assumptions.

Fund Management and ALM

  • Lead the fund management and ALM workstream including the following:
  • Maintain local Par Bonus Declaration Policy and declare Par Bonus annually.
  • Declare crediting rates for UL/Pension and non-participating discretionary rates.
  • Perform annual SAA review and recommendation

Reinsurance Management

  • Lead the reinsurance management workstream including the following:
  • Reinsurance internal and external reporting
  • Treaty review and maintenance

Compensation Costing

  • Lead the costing workstream for new compensation schemes
  • Lead the monitoring workstream for current compensation schemes to determine whether they achieve the business targets set at costing stage

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience: 5-7 years’ experience in actuarial position
  • Basic knowledge of Prophet, able to navigate and read the coding
  • Experience working with Microsoft packages
  • English fluency is necessary for this position.
  • Negotiation and presentation skills, team player, organized and punctual.
  • This position has the potential to lead the whole in-force management workstream.
