NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Manager, Broadcasting  based in our Concord, North Caroline office.

The Manager, Broadcasting handles the day-to-day management of domestic television partner relationships, scheduling, and needs.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Interface and manage day-to-day relationships with partner programming, production, marketing, sales, and communications groups.
  • Oversee the approval/execution of weekly partner requests (related primarily to programming and production needs).
  • Schedule and moderate weekly meetings between Competition, tracks, and broadcast partners to discuss upcoming week events and logistics.
  • Manage department support of partner needs at media days, production/marketing shoots, etc.
  • Maximize affiliate relationships and integrate with marketing initiative, tracks, etc.
  • Distribute weekly event logistics and materials to broadcast production groups.
  • Analyze commercial formats and work with networks to optimize to enhance viewing.
  • Act as the on-site Broadcasting contact for select race events.
  • Create and edit presentation materials and documents using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Adobe, and other programs as needed. 
  • Additional projects, as assigned to support broadcast partnerships and NASCAR’s growth initiatives.
  • Travel: Approximately 25%, including weekends
  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Required skills/experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university
  • Minimum of five (5) years of sports league or television/broadcast experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in all Company-provided hardware and software, including Adobe, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask on numerous projects.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Well organized and be flexible to shifting priorities in an often fast-paced and high-stress environment.
  • Ability to build professional relationships.
