Job Title: Principal Application Engineer (multiple openings)

Duties: Creates technology solutions addressing high impact business priorities. Demonstrates the ability to analyze, design, code, test and deploy solutions and product features with high quality to production. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or in an Application Engineer-related occupation.
Position required skills: Position requires 6 years of experience in the following: Designing and maintaining multi-component systems, consisting of both on-prem and cloud-based pieces; Maintaining and modernizing legacy mainframe/batch based systems; 4 years of experience in the following: Utilizing async architectures using RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka; Development of Restful services using Java and Spring Boot; Automated test scripts and deployments with Jenkins; configuring and monitoring applications with tools including AppDynamics and Instana; 1 year of experience with: Converting applications to container-based implementations using OpenShift Container Platform and EWS.
Position eligible for incentives under Employee Referral Program
Rate of Pay: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $144,560 to $171,500. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
