As a Category Planning Manager, you will help develop and implement category strategies across Fashion and Collectibles. Your work will support growth and improve the experience for buyers and sellers in France and Italy.

Working closely with Category Managers, Seller Success, Marketing, Product, and Cross-Border Trade teams, you will use data, market insights, and operational excellence to find opportunities, support critical initiatives, and drive category performance. Reporting to the Head of Categories for France and Italy, this role plays an important part in translating strategy into execution and enabling informed business decisions.

What you will accomplish:

  • Drive key business cadences by preparing insights and performance updates for weekly, monthly, and leadership reviews, helping inform strategic decision-making.
  • Support category growth by identifying assortment opportunities and gaps through analysis of market trends, customer demand, and competitor performance.
  • Collaborate with Category teams to assist forecasting, supply planning, and seasonal or event-based business initiatives across France and Italy.
  • Generate actionable insights from data and market intelligence to identify growth opportunities and support execution of category strategies.
  • Evaluate and improve the onsite customer experience by finding opportunities and partnering with global teams to implement solutions that improve engagement and happiness.
  • Collaborate with international partners to surface local market insights and customer needs, enabling more effective go-to-market planning and execution.
  • Improve operational efficiency by simplifying workflows, supporting strategic seller initiatives, coordinating participation in pan-European campaigns, and bringing to bear AI-enabled tools to enhance business processes.

What you will bring:

  • Experience in category management, category planning, ecommerce, merchandising, marketplace operations, consulting, strategy, or a related commercial field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, recognize patterns, and convert insights into practical business recommendations.
  • Experience supporting forecasting, performance monitoring, business planning, or commercial decision-making processes.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple functions and international teams to deliver business objectives.
  • Customer-focused approach with an understanding of the factors that influence buyer and seller happiness and engagement.
  • Strong communication and collaborator management skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations clearly to a range of audiences.
  • Experience using data, structured problem-solving approaches, and technology tools, including AI-enabled solutions, to improve business performance and operational efficiency.
