This role is a key part of our new Network Capacity Planning team, responsible for ensuring our infrastructure scales ahead of business demand.

You will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive visibility of traffic flows across the global estate, working closely with stakeholders to provide accurate traffic forecasts, and evaluating advanced tools to achieve these results. You will play a pivotal role in modernizing our planning capabilities by leveraging AI-driven analytics and Digital Twin technologies where appropriate to simulate growth and performance.

What you’ll be doing...

  • Monitoring network and platform utilization to proactively identify potential bottlenecks and anomalies.

  • Executing proactive capacity planning tasks to support network growth and capital planning initiatives.

  • Collaborating with senior engineers to integrate performance data into a unified, cloud-native framework for better visibility.

  • Developing engineering artifacts and standards for certified monitoring products like SevOne, Zabbix, and Splunk.

  • Build Low Level Design (LLD) diagrams for monitoring integrations and communicate these requirements to implementation teams.

  • Supporting proof-of-concepts (PoCs) for new data visualization and capacity planning tools.

  • Providing regular data updates for executive reports on network trends and forecasts.

  • Ensuring the network remains effective by keeping abreast of emerging risks that could impact platform performance.

  • Maintaining technical knowledge of the network to ensure accurate mapping of device utilization.

What we’re looking for…

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or two or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience in enterprise network architecture, performance engineering, or capacity planning.

  • CCNA certification - Valid CCNA certification in Routing and Switching, or other relevant tracks.

  • Prior experience leading automated network validation for large-scale digital transformation initiatives.

  • Strong scripting expertise.

Even better if you have:

  • Experience in Fortune 50 enterprise environments with complex, high-availability networking requirements.

  • Relevant industry certifications such as CCIE, CISSP, or vendor-specific security certifications.

  • Strong expertise in SASE frameworks, SD-WAN, and Data Center networking.

  • Proficiency in Data Analytics and AI/ML

  • Hands-on experience with network testing tools (Spirent) and performance monitoring platforms.

  • Deep knowledge of firewalls, proxies, and VPNs, with a focus on validating security policy changes.

  • Familiarity with cloud-native security models and how they integrate with physical data center segments.

  • Strong understanding of industry security standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS benchmarks.

  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical validation results to a global team.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently during high-pressure production maintenance windows.
