What a Regional Retail Management Lead does at HP:

  • Lead and manage Retail Management Leads across Southeast Asia to ensure consistency and alignment with regional strategies.
  • Develop and implement strategic retail plans for the region to achieve business objectives.
  • Coordinate with country-specific Retail Management Leads to align sales objectives (SO) and retail strategies.
  • Oversee retail operations and performance in Malaysia.
  • Conduct retail mapping and identify priority stores within Malaysia.
  • Plan sales objectives (SO) at the country, partner, and ESF levels based on available Total Addressable Market (TAM) data.
  • Establish a weekly cadence to drive sales objectives (SO) across the Southeast Asia region.
  • Conduct market sensing activities and share insights with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure retail compliance on key parameters to maintain high standards of operation across the region.
  • Publish regular dashboards on retail health parameters for all countries in the region.
  • Identify gaps in performance and implement strategies to bridge these gaps.
  • Monitor and analyze retail metrics to ensure alignment with regional business goals.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 12+ years of relevant experience in retail management, with a focus on Southeast Asia.
  • Outstanding communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in English is essential; additional Southeast Asian languages are a plus.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to manage multiple country leads.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.
  • Proficient in data analysis and interpreting retail metrics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across different countries.
