Job Summary

TeamBuilders Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate and motivated Community Support Specialist (CSS) to join our team in Las Vegas, NM. In this role, you will provide direct, community-based support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, helping them build skills, access resources, and improve their overall quality of life.

This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a difference and enjoys working one-on-one with clients in a dynamic, community setting.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support services in home and community settings

  • Assist clients with developing daily living skills, coping strategies, and independence

  • Connect clients to community resources (housing, employment, healthcare, etc.)

  • Support treatment plan goals in collaboration with clinical team members

  • Provide crisis support and de-escalation when needed

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

  • Transport clients as needed to appointments or services

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred)

  • Experience in behavioral health, social services, or a related field preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
