The Multi Domain Solutions Division at Leidos is looking for an experienced Senior Azure Coach to support a fast-paced program with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. We are seeking an experienced Azure Coach to guide our Department of Defense (DoD) program teams in leveraging Microsoft Azure to optimize their cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will facilitate training, provide hands-on support, and promote best practices in cloud development and deployment. This role is crucial for enhancing team capabilities, ensuring compliance with DoD standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role offers an exciting opportunity to impact the effectiveness of cloud strategies within a large Air Force weapons system, ensuring that teams are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct training sessions and workshops on Azure services and best practices tailored for DoD applications. 
  • Provide one-on-one coaching to teams on cloud architecture, development, and deployment processes. 
  • Assist in the design and implementation of Azure-based solutions that meet security and compliance requirements. 
  • Evaluate team skills and identify areas for improvement, creating customized learning plans. 
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to align cloud strategies with organizational goals. 
  • Stay updated on Azure advancements and DoD cloud computing policies to provide relevant guidance. 
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing among team members to enhance collective expertise. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • US Citizen with at least a Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelors Degree with 8+ years of experience or Masters with at least 6 years experience  
  • Proven experience in cloud computing, specifically with Microsoft Azure. 
  • Understanding of DoD compliance and security requirements for cloud services. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coach and mentor teams. 
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Air Force Life Cycle Management Center programs. 
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar certification. 
  • Familiarity with the deployment and maintenance of Azure Cloud Edge devices on classified networks 
  • Experience developing enterprise solutions on classified cloud environments, especially Azure US Government Secret or TS 
  • Previous experience working with DoD or government projects. 
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) in Azure. 
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines. 
  • Knowledge of cloud governance and cost management practices. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing environments.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
