We are looking for a Senior IT Functional Analyst specializing in Global Operations (MFG/MES), with a particular focus on AVEVA MES. The incumbent will be responsible for the design, technical coordination, and management of manufacturing processes (MFG) in SAP S/4 HANA and AVEVA MES. They will play a key role in translating business needs into technical solutions and collaborating with stakeholders to define the technology roadmap. This strategic role also involves managing complex projects and supporting existing systems.

• Salary range 006: 95 900$ to 119 900$ (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position).

What’s involved in this role:

• Translating business needs: Ability to gather business requirements and effectively transform them into functional technical solutions with minimal rework.

• MES and SCADA system design and development: Participate in the design and development of MES and SCADA applications and systems.

• Technical documentation: Produce technical documentation, including specific requirements, design plans, and test plans for SCADA and MES systems.

• Collaboration with user community: Work closely with users to communicate objectives and potential outcomes, while acting as a change agent.

• Project leadership: Lead regular interactions with project teams to inform, negotiate, and maintain positive relationships with a shared vision of project outcomes.

• Agile and Waterfall project management: Lead projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and act as a leader within a diverse team of internal and contract resources.

• Technology roadmap development: Play a key role in developing the technology roadmap within your areas of responsibility.

• Project management in partnership with the PMO: Manage small-scale projects in compliance with best practices, in collaboration with the company’s PMO.

• Facilitation of project review meetings: Support and facilitate the regular planning and review meetings.

What you need to join our team: 

• University degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

• 3+ years of experience in IT project management.

• 5+ years of experience with the SAP platform, with a specialization in SAP PP/PPDS.

• 5+ years of experience with SCADA/MES products, particularly AVEVA/Wonderware solutions.

• Equivalent combinations of education and/or experience may be considered.

• PMP and Agile certifications are highly recommended.

• AVEVA MES certification is strongly recommended.

• SAP S/4 HANA PP and/or PPDS certifications are highly recommended.

• Experience in automation with SCADA products (an asset).

• Proven track record in developing partnerships between business and technology domains.

• Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• In-depth knowledge of label management solutions, particularly Loftware NiceLabel and cloud printing solutions (an asset).
