Leidos currently has an immediate opening for an experienced Contracts Representative.  This is an exciting opportunity to use your skills & experience supporting the Defense and Intel Information Technology (IT) Business Area within the Digital Modernization Sector. The selected candidate will support all contract management activities for a diverse portfolio of U.S. Government contracts. This position is an individual contributor, reporting to the Defense & Intel IT Business Area Contracts Director.

At Leidos the contracts team functions as an integration role that thrives at the crossroads of all areas of the business.  In this role we are a critical formal, and informal, engagement point between Leidos and customer stakeholders.  A successful Contracts Representative is self-motivated and enjoys learning about the entire business relationship, and how all the pieces fit together, to accomplish the program’s objectives.

Work Location: Work location for this position will be 100% remote, with infrequent travel to the Washington D.C. metro area for in-person program reviews.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Demonstrate and act in accordance with Leidos Values in every business interaction (integrity, inclusion, innovation, agility, collaboration, and commitment)

- Provide cradle-to-grave contract administration support for Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Time and Material (T&M), and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Government contracts including RFP analysis, hands-on proposal development, coordination of appropriate internal reviews, contract negotiation, and contract/task order administration and execution.

- Responsible for overall contract compliance of assigned tasks in accordance with contract requirements, company policy and procedures, and applicable laws.

- Frequently interact (written, oral, and face-to-face) with other contracts and procurement staff, functional peers, program management, and external and internal customers.

- Daily use of Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

- Review and negotiate terms and conditions for Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), teaming agreements (TAs), and Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCIs) mitigation plans.

- Support audit activities and data requests from internal or external customers

Basic Qualifications

- Must be a US Citizen

- BA degree and 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 0 – 2 years of prior relevant experience

- Proficient in Outlook, Teams (or similar online collaboration tool), SharePoint (or similar online collaboration tool), Word, Excel, PowerPoint

- Experience working independently as well as part of a Team

- Interprets and administers contractual agreements

- Strong interpersonal skills to include strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills

- Skills in building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external customers

- Experience with US Government contracts (FAR / DFARS)

Preferred Qualifications

  • - Active clearance

- Experience with US Army and US Air Force Contracts

- Advanced user skills in Excel and Word

- Experience in negotiating changes

  • - Contracts Certification for example CFCM or CPCM

Pay Range:

Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00
