Sales Consultant – Channel Sales
The Sales Consultant – Channel Sales will be responsible for driving demand creation activities with locksmiths and other channel partners while also managing the field execution of the Wholesale Strategy at the branch level. This will include sales of mechanical, electronic and residential products in the defined geographic market. This role will execute all aspects of the sales process to maximize revenue through business and account planning, channel promotion development and support. The Sales Consultant will be a key member of the RSO (Regional Sales Office) and be expected to collaborate with the various Allegion field sales, marketing and product teams to leverage our expansive capabilities across all businesses.
What You Will Do:
Partner with the Wholesale Strategic Account Executives to create, implement and execute business plan.
Increase market penetration of Allegion products and determine partnering call patterns with key wholesale accounts and conduct joint sales calls in appropriate markets.
Work in conjunction with local sales leadership team to execute market specific share gain opportunities including local stocking opportunities.
Execute inventory management process with branch customers.
Execute training on new product, inventory management, and initiatives.
Establish and maintain working relationships with key customers both internally and externally.
Collect all relevant inventory, sales, and share data from assigned accounts.
Manage Customer and Channel conflict.
Demand Creation
Provide focus and local sales execution on Channel Led programs and products to targeted accounts through Wholesale Distribution.
Develop strong working relationships and provide support with targeted Locksmith accounts to achieve growth targets.
Develop joint business plans at targeted accounts and actively work account plans.
Establish a regular call pattern with indirect and direct accounts.
Provide regular feedback to Channel Led team and Management on channel partner needs.
Understand business and market dynamics that drive channel led segment for assigned territory and be aware of competition influence and performance.
What You Need to Succeed:
5+ years of sales experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related discipline or equivalent work experience preferred
Strong background of consultative B2B sales
Proficient knowledge of Mechanical, Electronic and Residential Architectural Hardware
Understanding of Strategic Pricing
Customer centric focus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated experience influencing others with a bias for action
Understanding of the Wholesale Distribution, Locksmith, and Integrator businesses and strategies is preferred
Candidate must live within greater Denver, CO or greater Salt Lake City, UT to call on customers within the territory
Ability to travel 30%

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
The expected total compensation range is: $110,000-143,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
