Senior Tax Accountant - International

Job Description:

We have an excellent opportunity for a Tax Senior that will become an integral part of our dynamic, global tax group. This tax position will not only play a significant role in handling of the company’s U.S. based international informational compliance but will also assist with tax accounting, and tax planning.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Prepare and assist with review of U.S tax returns (e.g., 1118, 5471, 8858, FBAR, disclosures).
• Prepare and assist with GILTI, FDII and 1118 calculations
• Assist with IRS Audit inquires
• Prepare and assist with FATCA requirements- W-8BENs etc.
• Assist with SOX 404 internal control compliance and coordination of external financial statement audits as they relate to tax matters.
• Assist with responding to the regulatory tax audit inquiries.
• Assist with implementation of selected tax planning initiatives and perform research and planning on an as-directed basis.
• Provide timely responses to questions and issues generated by or impacting business operations.
• Cultivate working relationships across functional areas to encourage two-way dialogue on any potential tax consequences related to contemplated business activities or transactions.
• Assist with training an implementation of professional and personal development programs for tax staff.

What We Are Looking For:

• Strong experience in U.S. tax compliance
• Working knowledge of process for reporting, collecting, and paying direct taxes
• Working knowledge of Excel and Word
• Hands on experience with tax compliance software such as OneSource.
• Working knowledge of local country statutory reporting and a strong understanding of US GAAP reporting.
• Advanced experience with electronic tax research software
• CPA and/or Master’s in Taxation preferred
• Capable of sorting through activities and focusing upon those with biggest impact.  Prioritizes well.
• Resourceful/innovative/creative—looks for better ways to do things
• Demonstrate strong administrative skills to be certain that all tax reporting and payment deadlines are met
• Able to present technical tax data in a comprehensible manner

Hybrid: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday required office days for Panorama Office site; Monday, Friday-work from home.
