Datadog is seeking a Manager for the Marketing Campaign Operations team. This role reports into the Senior Manager, Marketing Operations who is remote based.

 

In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the operational components of Datadog’s partner and channel marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses a keen analytical mindset, and excels at aligning people, processes, and metrics. You will lead partner campaign execution efforts, ensuring seamless coordination and optimal performance across multiple channels; including email, co-marketing events, syndication, and advertising. You will play a critical role in driving the success of our partner marketing initiatives, regularly providing analytics and insight for channel optimization. What You’ll Do:

  • Own the operational development and execution of multi-channel campaigns. (Does not include copywriting, content creation, or creative design)
  • Lead development and execution of email and newsletter programs in Marketo; provide flawless quality assurance
  • Support the implementation, enablement, and optimization of our Partner Portal
  • Ensure proper tagging, tracking, and lead flow for partner-sourced leads
  • Segment lead database to build targeted audiences for promotional activities, ensuring partitions are in place to separate co-marketing leads from partner contacts
  • Report on campaign performance to identify relevant trends and provide recommendations for ongoing optimization
  • Proactively meet with regional partner marketing teams to understand campaign plans and provide guidance on digital marketing best practices and automation capabilities
  • Identify and escalate email calendar conflicts, audience overlap, and gaps in campaign strategy against department goals
  • Stay informed about the latest compliance and legal developments in email marketing and ensure adherence

Who You Are: 

  • You have 3-5 years of marketing operations experience, ideally in a B2B technology environment
  • You have deep knowledge and hands on experience with marketing automation and CRM systems, ideally Marketo and Salesforce
  • Strong analytically and comfortable with Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
  • Detail-oriented, a self-starter, able to thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication, and able to collaborate effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with multiple stakeholders simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
  • Positive, can-do attitude

Bonus Points:

  • Experience working with global Partner and/or Channel marketing teams
  • Experience with BI tools, ie: Metabase
  • Experience with project management tools; ie: Jira
  • Knowledge of HTML
