Job Description Summary:

$15,000 SIGN-ON BONUS
External applicants and previously employed applicants who have been gone from the organization more than 90 days may be eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus with a one-year work commitment.

OhioHealth is currently looking for an experienced, registered Cardiac Sonographer who may also be registered in vascular sonography for our Bucyrus Cardiology office. This is a unique opportunity to work with a local physician's group in the Bucyrus, Ohio, area as the only sonographer in the office.

The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for performing diagnostic tests, such as echocardiograms, vascular studies, and follow-up paperwork for each procedure. Displays caring, courteous behavior in dealing with patients and their families, coworkers, physicians, and guests of the hospital/care site.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
