We are seeking a skilled Power Plant Design Engineer to develop designs for innovative MWM- Power Plant Solutions, including containerized Combined Heat and Power (CHP) systems. Our power plant primarily utilizes gas driven MWM- Gensets. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing integrated solutions for MWM- Power Plant projects from our office as well as during customer visits, focusing on the design of power and heat solutions. 

What will be your task at this position? 

• Develop and provide designs for MWM- Power Plant solutions, including CHP and systems, and system integration into buildings or containerized solutions 

• Execute MWM- Power Plant projects across all project phases: design, offer, order, construction site support during installation and commissioning. 

• Support our MWM- Sales Organization from the office and during customer visits. 

• Collaborate in international teams for global and innovative projects 

What do we expect from a suitable candidate? 

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering 

• Desired experience of 3+ years in (power) plant engineering, preferably with gas engine-based CHP plants. 

• Ability to translate complex customer needs into specifications and designs. 

• Proficiency in CAD design, including plant engineering in electrical or mechanical disciplines 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Willingness to travel also internationally on a regular basis. 

• High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently. 

• Fluent English
