Radiance is seeking a Mechanical Engineer who will advance signature production and analysis in support of our clients This Mechanical Engineer will perform production tasks with established processes and techniques including 3D CAD development of aerospace systems, data analysis, exploitation, and dissemination.

Job Duties:

Generate 3D CAD models using photogrammetric techniques.

Generate RF signatures in accordance with well-established production processes.

Provide input to analysis reports and briefings.

Produce reports on signature production results.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a technically related field

  • 1-3 years of related experience

  • Ability to use CAD/Solid Modeling software, such as Solidworks or Rhinocerous

  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to collaborate with others to solve problems.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 1 - 3 years’ experience in 3D Modeling

  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions independently on engineering problems and methods, and to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate work.

  • Demonstrated experience in the use of advanced techniques, theories, precepts, and practice.

  • Self-starter with strong oral and written communication skills; ability to work in a team environment including military, government and other contractors and support all aspects of a program throughout its lifecycle.

  • A working knowledge of aerospace structures, materials, and components. Experience with Rhino3D, Linux, Xpatch and Matlab is a plus.
