The Senior Vice President, Investor Relations will be responsible for the following:

  • Personally closing fund commitments across both private equity and capital markets products.
  • Provide best in class client service to existing Providence Limited Partners
  • Broaden relationships with current Limited Partners with focus on senior level personnel 
  • Develop new relationships within the Limited Partners community consistent with Providence Equity investor base
  • Coordinate with private equity and capital markets teams to ensure preparation of marketing materials that optimally position Providence products for all external communication
  • Develop a professional, disciplined and consistent sales approach with quantitative and qualitative measures
  • Provide sales management, leadership, creativity and product awareness

The successful candidate will have an exceptional track record and reputation. Given the significant responsibilities of this position, the top candidate will be a mature, experienced individual. In addition, the successful candidate should have:

  • 5-7 years of experience within an alternative investment environment with demonstrated track record of success in raising capital and developing and maintaining key account relationships
  • Have a solid understanding of the underlying product array encompassing private equity and various fixed income products
  • Ability to identify investor needs and suggest appropriate positioning of funds and/or value added solutions
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage, coach, and motivate experienced sales professionals
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills required
  • Undergraduate degree required.  Postgraduate degree preferred
