Job Description:

Hitachi Energy is seeking a dynamic and experienced Digital Innovation Program Manager to lead cutting-edge projects from ideation through pilot and business transfer. You'll oversee multiple, sometimes interconnected, digital innovation projects from conception to completion.

The ideal candidate will drive innovation initiatives, govern cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful implementation of digital solutions that align with our organization's strategic goals.

How you'll make an impact:

• You'll develop detailed program plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation

• Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across projects within the program

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business units, IT, and external partners

• Lead ideation sessions and workshops to generate innovative digital solutions

• Communicate program vision, objectives, and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders

• Negotiate program expectations and ensure results are achieved

• Manage external partners and related activities (commercial agreements, NDAs, SoWs, etc)

• Contribute in evaluating and implementing new digital technologies/business models

• Identify emerging technologies and trends to drive digital innovation

• Work with the digital team to drive process improvements and standardization across digital initiatives

• Ensure compliance with digital and data management policies and standards

• Oversee the execution of pilot projects to test and validate innovative digital solutions

• Manage the transition of successful pilots back to the owning business unit for scaling and adoption

• Facilitate knowledge transfer and adoption of new technologies across the organization

Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in program management, with a focus on digital transformation and innovation projects

• Strong technical background with understanding of emerging IT and OT technologies and digital trends

• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, multi-stakeholder programs

• Excellent ownership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Experience with agile methodologies and digital project management tools

• PMP or relevant program management certification is a plus
