The Opportunity:

CACI is currently looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer with CI/CD Pipeline experience to join our BEAGLE (Border Enforcement Applications for Government Leading-Edge Information Technology) Agile Solution Factory (ASF) Team supporting Customs and Border Protection (CBP) client located in Northern Virginia! Join this passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting the best practices in Agile Software Development for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).


Responsibilities:

·       Work as an integral part of an Agile Scrum team, a highly productive team of technical professionals who thrive on supporting the customer's mission and growth objectives

·       Deploy, and maintain the DevOps infrastructure for mission critical applications taking into consideration scalability, reliability, and maintainability of software systems

·       Work in close collaboration with other architects, technical leads, software developers and testers, and stakeholders within Agile processes to continue the automation of the software build, configurations, and deployment processes.

·       Install, configure and maintain all tools needed to accomplish the following DevOps functions: source control management, continuous integration, deployment, monitoring, repository management, provisioning, release management, logging, building, testing, containerization, collaboration and security.

·       Continue development and maintenance of the automated software build process using tools such as, application servers HTTP servers and reverse proxies (F5 NGINX), continuous integration (Bamboo, GitLab, Jenkins, Harness), containerization (Docker), automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications (Kubernetes, ArgoCD), distributed event streaming platform (Apache/confluent Kafka) and specific AWS technologies (Data Migration Service).

·     Administer, configure, and maintain application stack (Spring Boot, Database, Kubernetes cluster, etc.)

·       Work on database automation: integrate database changes into the DevOps process and leverage database CI/CD tools such as Liquibase to support tracking, managing, and applying database changes.

·       Assist with creating project resource estimates, metrics to track completion phase, defect reports, defect prevention, development efficiency and quality.

·       Contribute to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organization’s agile project lifecycle

·       May need to work off hours for support and deployments if necessary.




Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, criteria include, but not limited to:
    • 3-year check for felony convictions
    • 1-year check for illegal drug use
    • 1-year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud

  • College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline.
    • Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree plus 7 + years related experience
  • Prior experience with continuous integration (Bamboo, Jenkins, Harness), Kubernetes, Istio, API Gateway and GitLab
  • Experience working across multiple cloud providers such as AWS and/or Google Cloud
  • Ability to design and document technical solutions related to continuous integration and continuous deployment.
  • Proficiency in automating and optimizing processes
  • Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with a very strong work ethic and a self-starter
  • Effective organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
  • Exposure to certificate management for issuing, renewing, and deploying certificates to endpoints

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100-$172,400
