How you will create an impact

This role will be a senior leader driving change to achieve the organization’s top change priorities related to GenAI usage and ensure successful outcomes, on time and on budget. The Global Change Manager will provide leadership and functional expertise to navigate complex business change and will be expected to ensure all aspects of change management from Initiation to Business Embeddedness, are successfully delivered on.

There will be an expectation that this role will lead deep cultural change within the organization, driving the adoption of new working practices and / or technologies, and ensuring these are seamlessly embedded into people's day to day and aligned with the organization values and strategic goals.

Role owner will be proficient in evaluating Business change needs, creating plans and roadmaps to deliver changes, build consensus with the business and key functions, manage, and deliver change initiatives once in-flight

  • As a Senior Change Manager, GenAI you will ensure meaningful, sustainable changes are embedded across the business to realize value.
  • Manage Business Stakeholders Globally and Provide timely Change execution progress.
  • Assess change impact and define strategy and approach to successfully implement effective change. Lead change impact analysis through interviews, surveys, stakeholder engagement and visioning sessions, and advise on best practice.
  • Work with Product Delivery teams to coordinate and sequencing any activities requiring people engagement and preparation.
  • Plan and coordinate, with Business and Global Internal Communications, the delivery of communications. Design and deliver creative solutions and engagement activities including, Townhall presentations, briefings, workshops, focus groups, celebration events to keep business engaged and manage expectations on Change delivery activities, benefits, timelines, and scope.
  • Define, Plan, and co-ordinate, in conjunction with Training, the training efforts, approach and schedule
  • Evaluate and gauge end-user readiness for change adoption by completing Business Readiness Assessments
  • Support Business Embeddedness following execution and act as point of contact to support business should user access issues, defects, training needs arise
  • Lead engagement with senior Business and Functional stakeholders to identify and educate a community of ‘Change Champion(s)’ to support and help foster Change Execution within the business; and 'Super Users' to support on the ground expectations, and mentor local colleagues regarding change
  • Identify, Track and Escalate Change Plan Risks, Issues, Intersections, and Dependencies. Develop corresponding mitigating strategies and ensure that they are completed effectively
  • In conjunction with the Product Delivery, develop a detailed business change and readiness plan that is fit for purpose, and aligned to the initiative delivery roadmap timelines.
  • Support Product Delivery, alongside initiative owners in the business teams to enhance their business change and readiness skills through training and Quality Assuring key deliverables.
  • Contribute to the development and growth of the GenAI Product Team by supporting the development of tools and templates and a methodology for driving structured, sustainable, and disciplined Change Management
  • Support the development of business change learning, development and training when needed. Engage with business, HR (Human Resource), operations, and IT partners to develop and deploy L&D efforts.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • 10+ years of Change Management experience in leading Change initiatives either through consultancy, business operations, program management or process improvement roles; ideally
  • 5+ years of experience in insurance, financial services, consulting or similar industries
  • Significant proven experience of leading execution of Change Management activities as part of the delivery of Key Strategic Products or Programs across a complex, cross-functional environment.
  • Dynamic and capable of leading and executing successfully in an ambiguous environment and skilled at leading and managing small – large teams of cross-functional experts and contributors.
  • Strong ability to persuade, communicate in written, presentation, and oral forms, and ability to lead through influence is critical to the success of this role.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to empathize with business stakeholders.
  • Possess a strong business and commercial acumen and understanding of the insurance industry.
  • Expertise with delivering change in large Global organizations and Leading change management activities across multiple Programs.
  • Mastery of how change affects People, Process and Technology
  • Ability to influence others to champion production adoption and evolution through direct interaction with senior business sponsors and organizational leaders
  • Demonstrable experience in leading the delivery of complex Change initiatives across large organizations, including, standing up, leading, and managing Change Management activities
  • Proven experience working with commercial insurance products, processes, operations, business models, data, and technologies across a Global organization is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrates a mastery of solving complex business problems, creating solutions to embed change within the business, and working hands on the day-to-day execution of change projects and programs
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical reasoning (quantitative and qualitative) that can be applied in a problem-solving scenario.
  • Mastery of executive-level communications development and high-degree of comfort in working/communicating with senior business leaders
  • Ability to provide leadership and coaching to junior team members
