Under direct supervision, ensure the proper distribution of revenue obtained from the production of minerals as well as the continued maintenance and accuracy of the mineral ownership in company wells.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to

• Analyze leases, contracts, title opinions, operating agreements and legal documents to calculate a royalty owner’s division of interest for purposes of payment of proceeds and a working interest owner’s billable share of the burdens

• Review title documentation and update/transfer record title ownership internally

• Receive, review, and process documentation prompting a change in an owner’s payment or billing status

• Assess requests and documentation received to modify ownership interests in joint interest billing, revenue and land decks

• Analyze and process accounting directives

• Research new owner setup information

• Investigate and resolve quality control reports

• Research and resolve discrepancies related division orders received for internal company owners against system and prepare for signature by management or escalate for review by others

• Research and resolve complex quality control reports, decimal discrepancies and title issues

• Participate in acquisitions and divestitures and perform all necessary division order analyst work

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree

• No experience required

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

• Basic knowledge of Oil and Gas practices and policies and can apply that knowledge directly to your daily responsibilities
