We’re seeking a Senior Product Manager excited to guide the design of new flood insurance products and scale Floodbase’s Policy Management application powering our insurance program portfolio. This is a highly visible and cross-functional job opportunity for an experienced product manager, with the ability to independently develop new products in partnership with internal and external stakeholders. 

What we’ll count on you to deliver:

  • Lead the mission to scale our Policy Management application.
    • Develop the product roadmap for our Policy Management application.
    • Align individual product roadmaps with the overall product strategy, company goals and secure buy in from executive leadership. 
    • Use a user-centric approach to  proactively identify trends, barriers, and opportunities .
    • Turn ideas and needs into well-defined initiatives with a clear value proposition, requirements, and success metrics.
    • Collaborate with technology teams to ensure timely end-to-end product delivery, effectively reaching milestones and desired outcomes.
    • Generate internal excitement, understanding, and alignment on upcoming roadmaps and insurance products across our organization.

 

  • Own Floodbase’s insurance product delivery system across our insurance portfolio.
    • Continuously prioritize internal and external insurance product requests, effectively balancing business needs. 
    • Set and communicate delivery expectations to internal/external stakeholders
    • Oversee deliverables, executed by our insurance specialists.
    • Identify and flag delivery barriers, proactively propose solutions, bringing in specialists as needed.

 

  • Contribute to the design and launch of insurance programs on behalf of partners.
    • Drive the design of new, viable insurance product structures in collaboration with external partners and internal specialists.
    • Proactively collect feedback, iterating on design to ensure product-market-fit. 
    • Ensure the delivery of each program is documented and operational. 


Your knowledge, skills, & experience: 

  1. 4-6 years experience with 2+ years in a Product Manager role at a high-growth B2B or B2B2C SaaS company. 
  2. A proven track record of building and launching products. 
  3. You thrive working on complex, multi-stakeholder workflows and know how to improve them with data and modern software. 
  4. You are comfortable building products within nascent markets and ambiguous requirements.
  5. Demonstrated ability to drive rapid prioritization of competing needs, resource allocation, process management, and stakeholder communication.
  6. You’re detail-oriented and skilled in transforming quantitative and qualitative data into actionable insights.
  7. Demonstrated interest in developing complex financial, insurance or data products.

Compensation 

Floodbase offers competitive salaries with regular reviews and adjustments based on performance and industry standards. The salary range for this role is commensurate with experience with an expected range of $120,000 - $150,000. Additionally, this individual will receive equity compensation and a competitive benefits package.

This is a hybrid role requiring in-person attendance at our offices in Brooklyn, NY or Boston, MA, that will report to our Chief Product & Strategy Officer.
