Experience: 6–10+ years of progressive experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT, enterprise reporting, and analytics, with demonstrated leadership responsibilities.
Job Summary
We are seeking an Associate Manager – Data Engineering & Analytics with mandatory Retail domain experience, strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake, ETL/ELT development, Python, and enterprise reporting platforms, along with proven experience working with Oracle Retail systems.
This role requires a blend of technical depth and people leadership, including leading small teams, owning end-to-end data solutions, and collaborating closely with retail business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality analytics solutions that support operational and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Delivery Leadership
Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for retail data across multiple source systems
Build, optimize, and manage data models and transformations in Snowflake
Develop and support enterprise dashboards and reports using Power BI, Looker, or similar BI tools
Work extensively with retail business domains including sales, pricing, promotions, inventory, and merchandising
Integrate data from Oracle Retail applications or similar systems into enterprise data platforms
Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance across data pipelines and reporting layers
Collaborate with retail business stakeholders (merchandising, pricing, supply chain, finance) to gather and translate requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve ETL, data, and reporting issues
Document data pipelines, business logic, and reporting definitions
Adhere to data governance, security, and compliance standards
Drive analytics solutions across key retail domains including:
o Sales
o Pricing & Promotions
o Inventory & Supply Chain
o Merchandising & Finance
Lead the integration of data from Oracle Retail applications into enterprise data platforms, including:
o RMS (Retail Merchandising System)
o RPM (Retail Price Management)
o ReSA or
o Modules similar to above
Team & Stakeholder Management
Lead and mentor a small team of data engineers/reporting developers, providing technical guidance and best practices
Lead requirements gathering sessions, solution design discussions, and technical reviews with cross-functional teams
Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical solutions
Governance & Operations
Troubleshoot and resolve complex ETL, data, and reporting issues
Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards
Drive and maintain technical documentation, including data pipelines, business logic, and reporting definitions

Technical Skills (Must Have)
Strong hands-on experience in ETL/ELT development
Mandatory: Advanced working experience with Snowflake
