Abbott is looking for a  Financial Analyst to join the Structural Heart Division at our EMEA Headquarters in Diegem. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive the development and implementation of automation and analytics solutions, streamlining FPA processes and enhancing decision – making support for the EMEA Management team.

Role and Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement automation solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity within the Finance team 

• Design and implement automation solution to streamline reporting and planning processes 

• Deliver timely and accurate actuals reporting and variance analysis 

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles 

• Prepare EMEA management reports and consolidations 

• Support Marketing with financial insights and analysis 

• Review & evaluate analytics methods to ensure consistency, ensure data integrity across tools (HFM, SAP, BO, Dodeca, Power BI) 

• Translate complex data into actionable business recommendations 

• Lead and participate in ad-hoc projects as requested by management 

Your Profile:

• University degree in Applied Economics, Finance, Data Science, or related field

• MBA or analytics certification is a plus

• 3–4 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or data analytics

• Strong understanding of FP&A processes and strategic planning

• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in tools like Power BI, SQL, Python, R, SAP, BO, Dodeca, HFM

• Experience with automation tools and data visualization

• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Able to work independently in a fast-paced, multinational environment

• Fluent in English
