Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, you will engage in a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall quality and efficiency of software delivery. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that applications meet the highest standards of quality. You will participate in discussions to identify potential issues, contribute to the development of automated testing strategies, and monitor the performance of applications throughout their lifecycle. Your role will be pivotal in driving continuous improvement and ensuring that the end-user experience is seamless and reliable.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Develop and implement automated testing strategies to enhance testing efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects early in the development process.
- Monitor application performance and conduct regression testing to ensure stability.
- Participate in code reviews to provide feedback and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Engage in continuous improvement activities to refine testing processes and methodologies.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Apache Kafka.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques.
- Experience in scripting languages for automation purposes.
- Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud-based testing environments.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Apache Kafka.
- This position is based at our Manila office.
