MTO Business Analyst

Job Summary
This role is responsible for providing valuable financial insights and solutions for the Print Microfluidics Technology and Operations (MTO) business. The role actively assists our business partners with production cost metrics and expense management support. Additionally, this role contributes to Planning processes that are aligned with overall business objectives and affordability. This role is key to identifying and driving cost efficiencies and process leadership in both strategic planning and budget alignments and helping MTO delivery to those commitments for both our development partners and the HP Print business each quarter.

Responsibilities
• Performs financial analysis for the business, identifies cost savings opportunities and researches issues and recommends solutions.
• Leads Factory inventory cycle count audits in partnership with Operations.

• Owns financial metrics for Printhead manufacturing assembly costs and explaining goals and variances to Print partners

• Supports process enhancement, identifying opportunities for improved efficiency and organizational growth.
• Drives the forecasting process by analyzing trends within the businesses and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Provides information and counsel in the areas of controls, budgeting, and planning, return on investment decisions, and the development of overall business plans and strategies.
• Solves difficult and complex problems with a fresh perspective, demonstrating good judgment in selecting creative solutions and managing projects independently.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.

Per the Washington state statute, the estimated range of compensation for this job Washington, at the time of this posting, is $69,600 - $100,900. This position may be eligible for incentive pay, for openings where this is applicable.
