Lithic is hiring a Senior Accountant to manage key components of the accounting function at Lithic, such as the monthly close, audits and day to day operations. We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every requirement listed below!

What You'll Do:

  • Assist and backup the accounting manager with monthly closing activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting including variance analysis.
  • Perform daily cash treasury functions and work with the operations of the business to ensure operational cash is always in the right place at the right time.
  • Day to Day lead on all external audit requests and working with management to ensure financial audits are performed accurately and on time. 
  • Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
  • Serve as backup to Accounts Receivable processes including responding to client inquiries and entering invoices/bills/journal entries/collections/monthly accruals.
  • Analyze financials to evaluate cost cutting opportunities to drive value.
  • Help to maintain and enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate workflow processes and procedures to develop, recommend and implement procedural and systemic changes aimed at increasing accuracy and efficiency. 
  • Provide support for other ad hoc analyses and projects as needed.

What You Bring:

  • BA/BS in Accounting with 5+ years of experience in Big 4 and/or on the accounting team for a startup company
  • Advanced experience with financial ERP systems (preferably NetSuite) & Excel required
  • Working knowledge of accounting procedures and GAAP
  • Worked directly with auditors in connection with an independent financial statement audit
  • Customer service level communication skills with attention to accuracy and detail
  • Desire to succeed, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic organization while staying ahead of deadlines and providing an accurate work-product
  • An approachable demeanor that inspires trust and confidence
  • FinTech experience is preferred
  • CPA preferred but not required 
  • Experience with Salesforce, Ramp, Google Suite, NetSuite, and/or Looker is a plus

Base Salary: $85,000 - $120,000
