Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester with strong hands-on expertise in Python and Playwright to develop and maintain scalable automation solutions. The role requires close collaboration with development and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases through CI/CD pipelines. The role requires working closely with different teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software that meets unique business requirements. The work environment encourages the use of contemporary development frameworks and agile methodologies to foster continuous improvement and adaptability in project execution. Collaboration and innovation are key aspects throughout the development lifecycle to achieve high-quality outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within the team.
- Work with GitLab for version control and pipeline execution.
- Participate in test planning, reviews, and defect triaging.
- To ensure quality standards are met across releases.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Automated Testing.
- Experience in designing and executing automated test scripts to ensure software reliability and performance.
- Strong knowledge of testing frameworks and tools relevant to automated testing environments.
- Ability to analyze test results and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects efficiently and to execute automation suites and analyze results to identify defects , Validate backend data using basic SQL queries.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment processes to support automated testing workflows.
- Should Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Playwright and Design and enhance test automation frameworks for UI and functional testing.
- Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Should perform testing activities in Unix/Linux environments.
- Should have strong hands-on expertise in Python and Playwright to develop and maintain scalable automation solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5+ years of experience in Automated Testing.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
