What you will do: 

• Lead the design, architecture, and development of scalable backend solutions, influencing system architecture to maximize reliability, security, and performance 

• Design and implement complex backend solutions using .NET, ASP.NET, and .NET Core, focusing on scalability, security, and maintainability in high-impact areas 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, contribute to system architecture discussions, and propose technical solutions 

• Mentor and guide junior and intermediate engineers in technical and architectural best practices, code quality, and cloud optimization strategies 

• Develop scalable and reliable cloud-native applications on the Azure Cloud Platform, under the guidance of experienced engineers 

• Follow best practices for security, performance, and reliability in software development and cloud architecture 

• Lead discussions on cloud infrastructure, CI/CD improvements, and system integrations, proactively recommending advancements aligned with best practices in microservices and DevOps 

• Write clean, well-structured code following established coding standards and practices 

• Participate in code reviews, absorb feedback, and continuously improve coding skills 

• Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in software development and cloud computing 

• Identify and proactively resolve technical challenges to continuously evolve how products are engineered at Intapp and prevent the occurrence of production incidents 

What you will need: 

• Proven track record working with .NET technologies, such as C# and ASP.NET 

• Prior experience architecting resilient systems that leverage microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated monitoring, focusing on performance optimization 

• Experience developing new backend services in an object-oriented programming language with preference for C# 

• Advanced understanding of relational databases (e.g. SQL Server), with experience in high-performance data architecture for cloud applications 

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD automation tools (such as Jenkins and Git), along with robust knowledge of containerization and orchestration 

• Experience with Azure or other major cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud) 

• Experience and comfort working in an agile software development culture 

• Demonstrated ability to work within a fast-paced team environment, adapt to shifting priorities, and proactively communicate issues and progress 

• Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and self-improvement 

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment 

• A Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent experience 

• Be fluent in English. Portuguese language skills are a plus 

• Have the ability to travel to other development centres for training or temporary job assignments
