Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the HP Service Supply Chain (SSC). In this highly visible and dynamic role, the analyst will serve as the WW Cost of Workforce lead and Strategic Workforce Planner. This individual will collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders across Customer Support (CS), Enterprise Operations, and all regions. The position involves partnering closely with SSC and CS teams on initiatives to analyze and optimize spend. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong initiative, work independently and collaboratively, and engage confidently with employees at all organizational levels. This role offers a unique opportunity to accelerate career growth through leadership of cross‑functional initiatives, application of an entrepreneurial mindset, and expansion of professional networks across HP’s CS and SC organizations. Additionally, the analyst will act as a program manager for cost‑reduction and cost‑management projects.
Responsibilities
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in strategy, planning, operations, market research, or a related field.
Preferred Certifications
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Knowledge & Skills
Strong knowledge of HP workforce cost management processes, financial planning, and budgeting practices.
Advanced analytical and financial acumen, with expertise in trend analysis, variance management, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
Excellent organizational, communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships.
Proven business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to assess complex situations and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Strong project and program management capabilities, including experience leading cost optimization and efficiency initiatives.
Demonstrated critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to solve complex business problems in a fast-paced environment.
Agile and innovative mindset with a continuous improvement focus and a track record of driving positive change.
Strong prioritization and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and competing business priorities effectively.
Pay & Benefits
The pay range for this role is $130,700 to $205,200 USD annually with additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.
