Your impact as a Software Engineer:

As a Software Engineer for our Digital Client Solutions, you are responsible for the development of highly scalable and maintainable web applications. You will work as a full-stack engineer to enhance and grow our existing platform.

Job Responsibilities:

Document and implement functionality.
Perform code reviews with other engineers.
Write unit, integration (or api/service) tests, and end to end (UI) tests to verify functionality.
Work collaboratively with fellow software engineers to build features requested by business stakeholders.
Participate in Agile teams to develop, test, and debug our web applications.
Diagnose, debug and perform root cause analysis of issues and defects.
Applies system design, development and process standards.
Creates, maintains, and publishes system level documentation with guidance, including system diagrams.
Ensures requirements are clear, concise and complete prior to starting development.
Works with product development and stakeholders to evaluate feasibility.

Required Experience and Characteristics:

5+ years of experience with .NET
An inquisitive mind and a desire to promote innovation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter with the ability to own broad feature areas independently
Willingness to work in a highly-collaborative environment where the belief is that great ideas can come from anywhere.
Candidates must be able to embrace this culture, foster idea generation, and work to cultivate the best ideas into an executable plan.
Proficiency in English

Preferred Experience:

Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc
Experience working in a fast paced microservices or Services Oriented Architecture environment.
Experience with container-based systems such as Docker.
Experience with message based asynchronous communication, or event based architectures.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (using tools such as Cloud Formation or Terraform)
Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tools and methodologies.
Experience designing and querying databases
