About This Team:


ZTNA clients team takes care of the client projects for all platforms as part of Citrix Gateway product. It is widely used by various enterprise customers for securely accessing their enterprise resources remotely. It has ~10+ million monthly active users.

Team is self-motivated, and owns the product with full sense of responsibility and customer empathy.

This requirement is specifically for Windows VPN/ZTNA client team which supports both on-premise and Cloud/Zero Trust Network Access solution.


Job Description/Responsibilities:

We are looking for 8+ years of experienced software engineer assigned to design, develop, troubleshoot and debug complex software applications, resolving issues in innovative and practical ways. Involved with planning and prioritization of design and development activities to resolve a wide range of customer pain points. Ability to multitask; works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel. Takes initiative to plan and execute own work assignments. Often acts as a Tech Lead on complex projects and may be a sub-group Lead.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities

  • Analyses requirements and writes software requirement and design specifications for the organization’s complex projects.
  • Analyses, evaluates, and plans methods of approach to solve problems central to an assigned research or programming project. 
  • Acts as engineering tools expert and can propose new ones.
  • Prepares and gives formal presentations/reviews in areas of specialization to management and customers. 
  • Coordinates the technical design activity with others in department to ensure consistent and integrated approaches across projects.
  • Provides input to and generates documentation for new or existing projects as well as reusable code. 
  • Works on issues that impact design success of address future concepts, products and technologies.
  • Identifies technical opportunities and recommends programs to management in such areas as product development, reliability, and performance improvements. 
  • Leads continuous quality improvement in meeting internal and external customer requirements.
  • Partners with management and engineers in early stages of multiple project definitions and roadmap.
  • Overall technical expert that trains and mentors others.
  • Innovates, and coaches others to design and implement forward looking solutions.
  • Exercises wide latitude in determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.

Required Experience/Skills

As a Lead software engineer, you will have an opportunity to collaborate with the brightest engineering minds and work on cutting-edge technology in the area of SSL VPN, ZTNA, Security. It is expected to have,

  • Excellent C, C++ programming skills on Windows Platform
  • Good to have experience in Python programming
  • Strong exposure to Network Programming, with competencies in VPNs, ZTNA, AAA, and Security technologies
  • Strong exposure to Network filtering drivers like NDIS, WFP etc.
  • Strong exposure in L4 to L7 network protocols, importantly TCP, UDP, IP, DNS, HTTP
  • Strong hands on experience in various tools like WinDbg, Wireshark, Fiddler etc.
  • Strong hold on Algorithms and Data Structures
  • Strong in Windows OS concepts, internals and systems programming
  • Ability to build products for the best performance, scalability and future expansion in enterprise and cloud environments.
  • Expertise in Security aspect

Education

  • BE, BTech, MS degree in Computer Science or a related field is required
