Team Description

The HS Commercial team is looking for a forward-thinking, creative individual to join its Sales Excellence team. The Senior Commercial Data Analyst is a highly visible role, part of a team aimed to drive sustained commercial growth through strategic planning and optimized operations, with a relentless pursuit of excellence, an impartial viewpoint and open and dynamic cross-functional collaboration. This role is pivotal to recommend and solve data and process challenges internally and implement goal-oriented strategies.

Roles and Responsibilities

Data Analytics

  • Partners with team members to proactively analyze performance; use analytical techniques to assess data and provide recommendations to improve teams’ planning, operational and strategic approach.
  • Works with other teams bringing together various datasets to support advanced reporting and analytic needs. Uses the combined information to generate new and improved ways of presenting information to stakeholders.
  • Provides in-depth analysis to tell the story behind the data, looks for trends and patterns, and develops new solutions and strategies for the Commercial team.
  • Reviews large data sets to find the root cause of performance trends and indicators.
  • Supports recurrent and ad hoc reporting to drive decision-making and address specific business questions.
  • Proposes and implements innovative approaches to analyze and interpret data.
  • Utilizes data visualization techniques and tools to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
     

Data Integrity

  • Maintains data quality and accuracy by conducting regular audits and reconciliations of managed databases.
  • Identifies and resolve data inconsistencies or anomalies.
  • Drives and supports sales data governance standards and processes.
  • Implements data validation procedures and quality control measures.
     

Process improvement

  • Performs hands-on, tactical operations to “get the job done”, while looking for ways to streamline existing processes to drive efficiency and augment throughput.
  • Conducts thorough analysis of existing processes, systems and data flows to identify and recommend areas for process improvement and operational efficiencies, including but not limited to robotic automation.
  • Partners with team members, stakeholders, and technology teams to drive improvements towards process sustainability and scalability.
  • Participates in cross-functional projects requiring data expertise.


Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Advanced English level both verbal and written
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products with advanced Excel expertise. Microsoft Access knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficient in BI and data analysis & management tools such as (but not limited to) Tableau CRM (Einstein Analytics), Qlikview, and/or Power BI.
  • Ability to work with SQL, Python or similar languages to drive data visualization.
  • Proficient user of Salesforce
  • Strong critical thinker, with exceptional data analysis & synthesis skills. Ability to deeply understand key business questions and leverage analytics, data manipulation and modeling to solve business challenges.
  • Strategic thinking to anticipate potential issues and suggest creative alternatives to overcome barriers.
  • Excellent business and financial acumen.
  • Master degree in Data would be a plus
