Job Description:

About the role:

CDS Forms Services Coordinator is responsible for communicating and working with Form Owners, Best Practice Consultants and other Business Partners to assess, coordinate and assign incoming requests to members of the Canadian Delivery Services (CDS) team.  We are looking for an experienced professional who has good communication skills, is highly organized, has strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on collaboration. 

What will you do?

  • Responsible to assess incoming requests and their related interactions, to create and update forms or documents within Sun Life forms standards
  • Communicate regularly with Form Owners, Best Practice Consultants, Business Units Representatives, and members of the CDS Forms Services Team
  • Partner with internal clients to provide expertise and creative solutions to problems
  • Ensure requests are assigned to Forms Designers so they are handled within service level agreements
  • Manage requests within our set service standards and support legislative requirements to ensure we meet deadlines
  • Revise and proofread forms once completed by our team before returning to requestors
  • Coordinate projects, monitor and report progress to internal clients and leaders
  • Participate actively in all aspects of the Brighter Way Management system including huddles, GEMBAs, Continuous Improvement and problem-solving meetings
  • Promote Team engagement through Applause recognition on a regular basis

What do you need to succeed?

  • 1-2 years of experience in an a coordinator or administrative type role
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Knowledge of Business Unit form products
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong commitment to both timelines and quality of deliverables
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and other work

Preferred Skills:

  • 3 years of experience working in the insurance industry is an asset
  • Bilingualism (French, English) an asset
  • Experience with MS Office Suite products
  • Experience with Forms standards

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted.  It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.  In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.  Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
