Job Title:

Merchandise Associate, SDG

Pay Details:

The starting hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.

The Merchandise Associate position resides in a fast-paced sports/event driven retail environment which strives to provide the highest customer service standards.  Merchandise Associates utilize resources effectively to manage workload and provide quality services to customers and ensure each customer receives outstanding service.  ​This position is a part-time, non-exempt position within the Merchandise / Marketing department.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and acknowledge guests in a timely manner

  • Maintain solid product knowledge and assist guests’ inquiries regarding merchandise

  • Efficiently setup merchandise stands and displays before the game and dismantle and pack everything up after the event

  • Assist customers with product selection, answer questions, and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive experience

  • Operate the POS system, process transactions, and capture customer information

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of policies and procedures to assist customers effectively

  • Work closely with other Team Members to ensure a smooth setup, efficient operations during the game, and a seamless breakdown process

  • Assist with inventory management and ensure all items are organized and properly displayed

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal 

  • Experience using Shopify POS a plus

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Problem-solving and ​solid organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at one time  

  • Effective time management

  • Capable of maintaining high levels of productivity and performance over extended periods

  • Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Education - High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience Required - 0-1 Year
