JR62731 Security Specialist

The Security Specialist is tasked with the hands-on management of security operations at the area. This role is posted at Tainan site and reports to the Site Security Lead, required to work with peers in other sites as a team in various security projects. He/she demands a detail-oriented approach to the operational aspects of security, including the direct supervision of security personnel, management of security systems, and rapid response to incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Execution:
    • Support Site Security Lead to supervise the day-to-day operations of the security team.
    • Responsible of security system management, inclusive of access control, CCTV, and alarm system
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the integrity of security measures.
    • Respond promptly to security breaches or emergencies, leading the initial incident response.
    • Maintain a visible presence to deter potential security threats.
  • Team Management:
    • Schedule regular maintenance to all security systems to ensure uninterrupted security coverage.
    • Lead, train, and mentor security personnel in operational procedures and incident management.
    • Evaluate team performance and provide feedback to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Systems and Technology:
    • Coordinate with IT and FAC to build and maintain stable and effective security systems to support physical security operation, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
    • Operate and monitor security systems
    • Perform routine checks and maintenance of security equipment to ensure functionality.
  • Communication and Reporting:
    • Document system schematics, operational activities, incidents, and investigations.
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external authorities.
    • Prepare and present regular security reports to management.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in electronics engineer, information system management, security management, criminal justice, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a security operations role or security system project PM.
  • Professional certification in security operations or risk management is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of physical security principles OR security system design/installation/troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in CAD and understand Lenel + CCTV system software and hardware is a plus
  • Ability to read English documents and communicate on simple matters

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to respond to emergencies outside of regular working hours.
  • Physical fitness to perform patrols, inspection and respond to incidents.
