Job Summary


We are seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead critical eCommerce engineering initiatives within our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects that directly impact our eCommerce platform and customer experience. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership capabilities to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

The role plans, executes, and monitors software development projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards including security compliance. The role identifies potential risks and challenges in software projects and implement strategies to mitigate these risks for successful project outcomes.


Responsibilities

Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple complex eCommerce engineering projects, from inception through delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.

Strategic Planning: Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and resources required. Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules and manage dependencies across teams.

Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in eCommerce systems and technologies, managing delivery of Security and Audit related activities including vulnerability management, Software upgrades and SOX audit compliance.

• Provides domain-specific expertise and overall software applications leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.

• Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the software applications design organization.
 

Risk Management: Proactively identify risks, issues, and obstacles that may impact project timelines or quality. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans as needed.

Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication across teams and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and key decisions. Ensure transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement. Coordinate efforts across engineering, Security, Infrastructure and Database teams.

• Plan, lead and execute vulnerability remediations.

• Work with Internal and external Audit team and business partners to document, collect evidence, and explain DevOps, functionalities and business processes for SOX audit.

Quality Assurance: Implement processes and metrics to monitor project progress and quality. Drive initiatives to improve development practices, code quality, and deployment processes.

Budget and Resource Management: Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships effectively. Optimize resource utilization while ensuring projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.

Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and best practices in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the organization.

Education & Experience Recommended
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical program management, with at least 5 years focused on eCommerce platforms or related technologies.

• Technical Skills: Deep understanding of eCommerce systems, web technologies, APIs, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Leadership: Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution.

• Preferred Certifications: PMP, PgMP, or other relevant certifications preferred.
