Position Summary

The Senior Manager, HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a key strategic advisor and trusted partner to senior leaders within the Digital, Data, Analytics, and Technology (DDAT) organization. This role plays a critical part in shaping and executing people strategies that enable business transformation and accelerate innovation. The HRBP will align HR initiatives with organizational priorities to drive performance, strengthen leadership capability, and enhance employee engagement across a rapidly evolving, technology-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior executives and business leaders to understand the organization's strategic direction and translate it into Human Resources strategies and initiatives.
  • Assess the organization's structure, identify opportunities for optimization, and develop strategies to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Provide thought leadership and strategic advice on people-related issues, helping to shape the overall business strategy.
  • Lead or participate in Human Resources projects or initiatives aimed at enhancing Human Resources processes, employee engagement, or diversity and inclusion efforts.
  • Utilize human capital data and analytics to provide insights and recommendations to business leaders by analyzing workforce data, identifying trends, and developing metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Provide strategic Human Resources guidance, influence decision-making, and foster strong partnerships across the organization.
  • Support change management initiatives and foster employee engagement within the organization by helping leaders effectively communicate and manage change, anticipate and address employee concerns, and create strategies to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Provide guidance and support to business leaders on employee relations matters and performance management.
  • Ensure Human Resources policies and practices strictly align with legal requirements and industry regulations.

**The ideal candidate would work in a hybrid capacity in a CVS Hub location. Remote work may be considered if not near a Hub location**


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7+ years in HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or related HR roles with a proven track record of delivering strategic HR solutions.
  •  Exceptional ability to build trust and influence across all levels of the organization, navigate complex challenges, and proactively deliver solutions that enable growth and transformation at scale.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in compensation, recruiting, organizational design, and talent management practices.
  • Skilled in managing multiple priorities effectively, providing sound judgment on employee issues, and driving timely resolutions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with employees at all levels, both one-on-one and in large group settings; strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% based on business needs.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with technology, data and/or digital teams as part of HR client group


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
