Summary:

In this role, you will drive revenue growth within the specialty pharmacy and home infusion markets by maximizing contract utilization, selling Provista Solutions and building strategic executive relationships with new and existing members.  You will engage with suppliers, distributors and internal teams to drive strategic initiatives and desired results.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect for new customers, build pipeline of targets, and drive new business partnerships.
  • Manage a territory of key pharmacy providers supporting savings and growth goals.
  • Drive revenue through expanding relationships with existing members and recruiting new business for assigned program(s).
  • Collaborate with internal operations, pharmacy members and strategic Supply/Distribution partners to enhance communication and improve member cost, quality and market performance.
  • Build and lead team while engaging and developing direct reports.
  • Manage overall pipeline for direct report(s) and accountable for individual and team sales and revenue goals.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of and monitor the customer’s industry and competitive environment in order to create effective customer solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans in order to increase contract and program participation.
  • Responsible for leading negotiations and securing long-term, profitable member agreements.
  • Partner with internal and external teams during supplier, distributor and member negotiations to support requests for information and proposals (RFI, RFP, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 7 or more years’ experience required.
  • Experience managing large enterprise accounts; preferable in a healthcare group purchasing setting.
  • Experience developing strategic solutions and sales within the Specialty Pharmacy and Home Infusion markets.
  • Ability to analyze spend data to develop best solutions for maximum member savings and to identify sales opportunities.
  • Ability to influence C-suite, develop relationships vertically and horizontally with accounts and business partners as needed.
  • Ability to lead individual contributors.
  • Prior experience prospecting for revenue opportunities, building strategic offerings and executing.
  • Proposal writing and SFDC experience required.
  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet member’s needs and attend applicable tradeshows.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $102,400.00 to $168,800.00.
