We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist, Data Governance Analyst to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the integrity, quality, security, and compliance of our data across all domains. This is a permanent, hybrid and full-time role.

Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing and implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data stewardship and ownership roles
  • Develop and maintain standards for data quality metrics and monitor performance
  • Support initiatives to improve data quality and resolve issues
  • Assist in managing metadata to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility
  • Implement and manage metadata cataloging processes to enhance data discoverability
  • Support the establishment and maintenance of master data and reference data management processes for consistent use across the organization
  • Utilize Collibra for data governance activities and train teams to enhance data governance initiatives
  • Project manage data governance projects

Your Profile:

  • Proven experience in supporting the design and implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures
  • Strong understanding of data quality management and experience in developing and maintaining standards
  • Expertise in metadata management and implementing metadata cataloging processes
  • Experience in master and reference data management and collaborating with business units
  • Proficiency in using Collibra for data governance activities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including conducting training sessions and presenting reports to senior management
  • Nice to have, but not essential:
  • Advanced degree in a related field
  • Certification in data governance or related areas
  • Experience in a research-intensive biopharmaceutical company
