Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will be working with Electrification Business and you will have full P&L finance and controlling ownership for the ELSE (Electrification Service) units in both Czech Republic & Slovakia

The work model for the role is: #hybrid, #Li-hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Operational partnership: Partner directly with the Local Division Managers to drive strategy and execution to deliver on profitable growth targets.
  • Compliance and Integrity: Direct responsibility for the accuracy of all financial books, records and reports for the ELSE Division in the countries under scope. Drive compliance and integrity throughout the Countries in support of the LDMs.
  • Planning cycle leadership: Support the APP process for the Division.
  • Partner with the ELSE Local Division Managers to operationalize financial targets and challenges.
  • Direct ownership for developing and executing the financial forecasting process for the ELSE Division supporting the LDMs to prepare an accurate and timely forecast.
  • OHS and Integrity: Support ensuring a safe working environment, continuous HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) improvement processes, integrity performance and Group standards.
  • Leading by example to drive the right behaviors, personally living the ABB values of Courage, Care, Curiosity, Collaboration

Qualifications for the role:

 

  • You are highly skilled in working with financial analysis, operational controlling methodologies, and accounting practices within a business environment
  • You have 8+ years of experience in business, finance, operational controlling, or accounting, demonstrating a strong track record of delivering results
  • You are highly adept in Microsoft Office and reporting tools, with advanced expertise in data analysis and reporting platforms
  • You are passionate about accuracy and detail, with a strong focus on analytical thinking and problem-solving
  • You hold a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting, or have an equivalent combination of education and professional experience with proven performance
  • You possess strong knowledge of costing, service accounting, and revenue recognition principles
  • You are at ease communicating in English
