U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Financial Analyst (Multiple Openings) in Minneapolis, MN.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Financial Analyst (Multiple Openings) position will support the refresh of Costing studies and monthly costing operations including performance reporting, forecast, budget and costing true-up. The Financial Analyst will work to leverage technology to develop actionable reporting and dashboard analytics. Responsibilities include: Developing and maintaining complex revenue sharing/shadow accounting for executive management, including quarterly 10K/Q Segment footnote support and cost allocation invoices. Developing and maintaining multi-dimensional profitability reporting leveraging data from SQL, FDW, Hyperion, OFSAA, PRISM and Workday in Excel, and leveraging concepts such as cost allocation, cost elements, rate templates, and other cost accounting measures. Developing and maintaining cost model documentation, documentation of policies and procedures, maintenance of costing accelerators including data dictionary, costing hierarchies, and service catalog. Conducting and preparing independent financial analyses and translating analyses into executive-level presentations. Analyzing and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data to be used in Segment Footnote and Invoices for Business lines. Multiple Openings. Basic Qualifications:
The qualified candidate must have at least a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Economics or Finance. The qualified candidate must have at least 2 years (24 months) of experience as financial analyst or closely related occupation.
Required Skills/Experience:
The qualified candidate must have at least a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Economics or Finance. The qualified candidate must have at least 2 years (24 months) of experience as financial analyst or closely related occupation. The qualified candidate must have at least 2 years (24 months) of experience with all the following: Developing and managing Activity-Based Cost and revenue sharing/shadow accounting models. Collecting data, populating cost models, modifying model designs, and participating in discovery sessions. Managing data intake including statistically derived metrics and benchmarks. Securing and automating new data requirements for cost models and revenue sharing / shadow accounting program. Designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards using data visualization tools for shared services finance. Working with the following: Power BI, SQL, SQL Server, and advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
Alternatively the qualified candidate must have at least a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Economics or Finance. The qualified candidate must have at least 5 years (60 months) of experience as financial analyst or closely related occupation. The qualified candidate must have at least 5 years (60 months) of experience with all the following: Developing and managing Activity-Based Cost and revenue sharing/shadow accounting models. Collecting data, populating cost models, modifying model designs, and participating in discovery sessions. Managing data intake including statistically derived metrics and benchmarks. Securing and automating new data requirements for cost models and revenue sharing / shadow accounting program. Designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards using data visualization tools for shared services finance. Working with the following: Power BI, SQL, SQL Server, and advanced Microsoft Excel functions.

Pay Range: $113,963.00 - $150,500.00
