This is an important services leader role to Lead a team of employees focused on Distributed Energy Resource Management System (DERMS)
The Sr, Manager – Software Services Delivery – DERMS shall provide strategic and operational leadership to the services delivery team working on DERMS products in India and will report into India Service Delivery Leader. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of successfully managing mission critical software service delivery operations preferably in the area of DERMS/ T&D domain

Job Description

Role Summary
Closely work with global stake holders including manager/SMEs from different regions to make sure that the team is effectively utilized.

Understand then project requirements and guide the team members in DERMS   domain

Contribute actively towards technical topics, complex code development / configurations to meet customer requirements
Identify and respond to professional growth needs for all team members and ensure they have the proper training to execute team deliverables.

Actively participate in design review meetings internal and also with global customers

Apply analytical skills to break down problems into smaller tasks and estimate time for development tasks.

Monitor and track the utilization and billability and take proactive steps to ensure high team engagement

Foster a work culture at all levels that is positive, collaborative, respectful, innovative, dynamic, with high integrity, and capable of driving positive change over sustained periods of time.

 Hire the right talent in accordance with the requirements   and manage the team for the successful delivery of work modules from Hyderabad based global delivery center

Qualifications / Requirements

Engineering graduate /master’s degree from an accredited university in Computer science/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

12+ years of experience in Transmission & Distribution domain related areas (specifically software applications, services deployment, integration etc

Proven experience in people leadership

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to make formal and informal presentation to technical and non-technical staff and customers.   

Desired Characteristics

Good programming skills and proven experience in Python/ Java /C++  

Prior experience of working in DERMS domain would be an added advantage.

Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing team members

Demonstrated experience influencing across a complex, global matrix organization
