The Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) & Circularity Manager will be an important member of the LS&Co. Global Sustainability team, reporting to the Senior Lead, Sustainability Sourcing and Traceability which reports to the Chief Sustainability Officer.
Our company’s goal is to deliver a comprehensive Circularity plan and achieve zero waste to landfill from company operations by 2030. With a global scope, you play a pivotal role in advancing key workstreams on extended producer responsibility and leverage outcomes to reduce packaging and textile waste and enable greater circularity.
This role will engage collaboratively across the organisation on waste minimization in our owned & operated locations and throughout our supply chain, packaging changes and developing robust verification and assurance processes to capture progress. You will be responsible for engaging with external industry stakeholders, third-party organizations, and service providers to monitor developments on EPR and the circular economy.
As the Manager for EPR & Circularity, you will lead awareness initiatives and integrate accountability throughout the organisation to drive essential progress in EPR compliance.
About the Job
Take a leading role in the management and further development of our global EPR Programs.
Monitor emerging EPR and waste regulations globally (EU, US states, Asia) and interpret applicability (products, materials, producer status).
Prepare in collaboration with 3rd party partner compliance submissions for all in scope markets and track KPIs for in scope jurisdictions.
Drive strategic initiatives to deliver measurable progress against waste reduction goals.
Identify and implement improvement opportunities to enhance data quality, completeness and accuracy.
Actively engage with business on eco-modulation to drive strategic initiatives at our sites, especially in distribution centres, retail stores, supply chain and consumers that reduce compliance obligations over time and advance circularity.
Consistently assess and enhance existing processes to align with evolving requirements and stakeholder expectations.
Maintain existing and foster new business relationships and partnerships.
About You
Experience and Knowledge Required
A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Textiles and Apparel industry
Experience in managing Circularity and waste responsibilities
Deep experience with extended producer responsibility waste directive framework
Understanding of waste streams for retail, distribution and textiles supply chain
Experience in analyzing financial feasibility and performance
Experience in developing methodologies and processes
Proven track record of project management and delivering company strategies
Skills and Abilities Required
Strong analytical skills for data analysis
Solution oriented with track record of proactive problem solving and creativity
Communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross functionally, prioritization and simplicity
Effective Project management and strong attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree in Textiles, Circularity, Packaging Engineering, Sustainable business or similar.
This is a hybrid position based in our Warsaw Office or Brussels HQ. You will be expected to be in the office three days per week, though time in office may vary depending on business needs.
The expected starting salary range is PLN 248,000–337,400 gross per annum in Poland and €90,800–121,000 gross per annum in Belgium. The amount an employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance, and our needs. Salary ranges may vary by location and currency. Where roles are advertised across multiple locations, local ranges will apply.
